Ingredients

  • 3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 3 cups uncooked oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 5 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/4 cup plain molasses
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300°F
  • In large bowl, combine flour, oatmeal and wheat germ.
  • Then add remaining ingredients, mixing well until ingredients are distributed evenly throughout.
  • You can add up to one additional tablespoon of margarine if necessary.
  • Chill for half an hour to an hour, then roll into balls (about one teaspoon per ball) and place on a greased or non-stick cookie sheet.
  • Flatten with your hand or a fork, then bake for one hour.
