1cupfresh pineapple chunksor canned in juice, drained
Instructions
Prepare the Pineapple: If using fresh pineapple, remove the rind and core, then cut the flesh into small chunks. If using canned pineapple, drain well to remove excess liquid.
Combine Ingredients: Add the pineapple chunks to a clean, sterilized glass jar. Pour the vodka over the pineapple, ensuring all pieces are fully submerged.
Seal and Steep: Seal the jar tightly and store it in a cool, dark place. Shake gently each day to ensure the flavors infuse evenly.
Taste and Strain: After 5–7 days (taste-test on day 5 to check the flavor), strain the vodka through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean bottle. Press the pineapple gently to extract remaining liquid, but avoid over-squeezing to maintain clarity.
Store: Seal the bottle tightly and store it in a cool, dark spot. The infused vodka will keep for up to 3 months.
