DIY Heavy-Duty Grout Cleaner
Sometimes regular cleaners just can’t get the job done, but you still don’t want all the unnecessary chemicals found in commercial cleaners. Here is how to make a heavy duty version at home.

- 1 tsp household ammonia
- 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide
- 3/4 cup water
Instructions
- Combine well in a bowl.
- Pour small amounts onto the grout, or saturate towel and press to grout on a wall, so grout is saturated with the solution.
- Scrub with stiff-bristled brush (being careful to check that tile cannot be scratched.
- Allow it to sit for several minutes then rinse well with warm water.
- Repeat if needed.
