Ingredients
- 1 bar soap such as Ivory
- 3 tbsp water
- 2-3 drops food coloring
- 2-3 drops essential oil your preferred scent
Instructions
- Using a cheese grater, grate the soap.
- In an old saucepan, bring water and food coloring to a boil, then add soap.
- Immediately reduce heat and stir with a whisk for 2 minutes or until melted and color is evenly distributed.
- Add essential oil, allow to cool slightly, then form balls when it is cooled enough to work with.
- Spray your soap molds with non-stick cooking spray, then press soap into molds, or roll into neat balls.
- Allow to cool, pop out of molds and either display in bathroom or seal in ziplocs until needed.
