Instructions
Drain the black-eyed peas and place in a slow cooker. Add the ham hock and toss onions over top. Add enough cold water to the slow cooker so that the peas are just slightly covered.
Cook on low for 5-6 hours or until peas are completely tender and water is nearly gone from the slow cooker.
