Beefy Bacon Dog Treats Recipe

Dogs love bacon too! Here is a great recipe for bacon-loving dogs without feeding them strips of bacon.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup beef broth
  • 1/3 cup bacon grease after you cook the bacon for breakfast!
  • 1/2 cup powdered milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 3 cups whole wheat flour

Instructions

  • In large bowl, pour beef broth over bacon grease, then add milk, salt, sugar and egg.
  • Slowly add flour, mixing well before adding more.
  • On a lightly floured surface, knead dough for five minutes, adding more flour as needed.
  • Roll to 1/2″ thickness, cut with cookie cutters.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until done.
