Do you have more guests invited for dinner than you have napkin rings for? If you don’t have the skills to make fancy folded napkins, you can use this trick to make fancy napkin rings your guests will love.
First, grab a roll of ribbon that matches your napkins – you can pick up an entire roll of many styles of ribbons for only $1 – way cheaper than buying a set of 12 napkin rings! You can also use raffia instead of ribbon if it would suit your table better.
Roll or fold the napkin small – it should be about 1-2″ wide when placed on the dinner plate and tie it with ribbon or raffia.
Then, simply insert a couple blossoms between the napkin and the rubbon. You can purchase something small – such as a filler used in your floral centerpiece. Or go and pick wild daisies or other flowers to use instead.
Sit back and wait for your guests to remark on the fabulous napkin rings when seated. And whe clearing the table, save the ribbon for use at another dinner party or to be put to use in a craft.
