Did you know that pasta is best served when it is served in a hot pasta bowl or plate? This will prevent the pasta from cooling too quickly, as well as preventing the sauce from cooling down or even congealing depending on the type of pasta sauce it is.
Fortunately, it is super easy to heat up your pasta bowls before serving your dinner. There are two convenient ways to do this.
First, simply scoop out some of the pasta water from your cooking pasta with a ladle and put a little bit into each bowl a few minutes before the pasta finishes cooking. You want to make sure it is covering the bottom surface of the bowl, but you don’t need to fill the bowl completely up with the heated water
If you don’t want to have to mess around with transferring any of the boiling pasta water into bowls, you can also heat up some water in a kettle, and then a few minutes before you serve pasta, pour some of the hot water from the kettle into each bowl to heat it up.
When you are ready to serve, simply pour the hot water out of the pasta bowls, and towel dry it quickly with a fresh kitchen towel. Then simply serve your pasta in your heated pasta bowls
