If you love eggnog, here is another way to add it to your menu! Having Christmas day brunch? Or just need something to do with your leftover eggnog after Christmas? Eggnog French Toast is the perfect thing!
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup eggnog
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp cinnamon (optional)
6 slices of regular white bread
In a small bowl that will allow easy bread dipping, combine eggs, eggnog, vanilla, and cinnamon. Depending on your eggnog consistency, you may want to add a few tablespoons regular milk. Dip each slice of bread in the mixture on each side.
Heat a skillet over medium heat with a small amount of butter/margarine and cook each side about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with margarine and syrup if desired.
