Jello Cookies in a Jar Mix

Cookies with the flavor and color of your choice of Jello!

1/2 c sugar
1 pkg Jello (your choice of flavor)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2-1/2 cups all purpose flour

Combine together and place in mason jar, pressing down to fit as needed.

Instructions for jar tag or label

In large bowl add 3/4 cups shortening, 2 large eggs and 1 tsp vanilla. Add contents of jar, combining well. Roll cookies into small balls (about 1″ in size). Place evenly apart on greased cookie baking sheet. Using a flat bottomed glass, dip bottom of glass in sugar then flatten a cookie; repeat until all cookies are sugared and flattened.

Bake at 350F for 7-10 minutes, or until done.
