Check your email for in-store coupons while shopping

Did you stop by a store you weren’t planning on and want to purchase something?  Check your email on your phone to see if they have recently emailed you a coupon code or special bonus for in-store.

For example, I went shopping at Old Navy, and while waiting in line to pay, I checked my email to discover a 20% off coupon for the entire purchase.  They simply had to enter in the coupon code at the register from my email.

Other stores will have coupons with a barcode that will scan directly from your phone screens.

You can also sign up for newsletters and specials while standing in line to pay – I have done this and scored a 10% coupon off an in-store purchase in my email 30 seconds later.
