When you park outside, your car can take at least ten minutes to heat up enough for the defrost to melt frost from your windshield. And if you don’t have a windshield scraper, it can be a tedious task of using a CD case or credit card to remove enough frost so you can safely drive. But you can actually pretreat your windshield with a homemade solution so that the frost won’t form in the first place.
In a clean spray bottle, combine three parts plain white vinegar with one part water. Spray the outside of each window you do not want frost forming on. You will need to repeat this every 2 or so weeks, so you can keep your bottle in your trunk so you can spray whenever you need it.
Unfortunately, if it snows, it won’t keep the snow off!
