Beef Stew Crock Pot Recipe
A great stew that uses a less expensive beef cut. But cooking in the slow cooker all day results in a nice and tender stew beef!
Equipment
- slow cooker
Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef chuck cubed
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- half garlic clove minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 carrots sliced
- 2 onions chopped
- 1 stick celery sliced
- 3 potatoes diced
Instructions
- Add meat to the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika, then add to slow cooker, stirring well to coat beef.
- Add remaining ingredients, stirring to combine thoroughly, cover and cook on low 10-12 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
