Lemon Cake Recipe for Child-Size Oven

This recipe makes 12 cakes, packaged individually

1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp lemon Kool-Aid powder
1/3 cup vegetable shortening


Combine all ingredients but shortening in a medium bowl. Cut shortening into mix. Divide mixture into 12 ziploc sandwich bags. Seal and store in dark cupboard for up to six months.

To bake a cake:
Mix 1 package of lemon cake mix with 1 tablespoon of water in small bowl, stirring well until smooth. Bake in preheated Easy Bake ove until top is starting to brown.
