This fun recipe makes kicking the can fun… and the result is ice cream!
1 lb coffee can
3 lb coffee can
For the ice cream:
1 c milk
1 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Mix ice cream ingredients together and add to clean smaller coffee can. Secure with duct tape if your kids are especially, um, eager! Place small layer of ice in the larger coffee can, add smaller coffee can, then add ice around, adding a handful or two of salt. Secure with duct tape. Roll or kick it around for about half an hour, then serve the ice cream inside!
Chocolate variation: Add 1 tbsp chocolate syrup
Strawberry variation: Add 1 tbsp strawberrt syrup
