Homemade Paste

This Homemade Paste recipe is great for keeping around the house for rainy days or when inspiration strikes.

Whole wheat flour
Cold water

Mix flour with cold water to make a liquid paste (about the consistency of a regular cake mix). Continue to beat until lump-free. Put mixture in an old pot, and then gently heat until boiling. Stir constantly. Remove from heat and allow to cool before using.

This can be stored for long periods of time in an air-tight container. If the paste becomes hard while in storage, you can soften by mixing in tiny amounts of warm water until it returns to paste consistency.
