3/4 cup beef broth
1/3 cup bacon grease
1/2 cup powdered milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons sugar
1 egg, beaten
3 cups whole wheat flour
Preheat oven to
325°
In large bowl, pour beef broth over bacon grease, then add
milk, salt, sugar and egg. Slowly add flour, mixing well before
adding more. On a lightly floured surface, knead dough for
five minutes, adding more flour as needed. Roll to 1/2"
thickness, cut with cookie cutters. Bake for 45 minutes or
until done.
