There is nothing
worse than running out of ice when you are planning a party.
But how much ice do you need when hosting a party?
Plan on having
two pounds of ice per guests. If you will need to keep things
like beer or white wine chilled outside of a fridge, you will
also need enough ice to keep those drinks cold as well, taking
into account that the ice will melt, especially if you are
holding a party outside and the ice is sitting in the heat.
If you plan on
doing a lot of blended drinks or drinks shaken in a martini
shaker, you will also need to up the quantity of ice too.
