Don't spend money on bagged ice

When you are hosting a party at your house, don't bother spending the money on bagged ice from the store. save your money and make your own ice cubes.

About a week before the party, make a habit of filling up your ice cube tray twice a day. Do it in the morning and evening. When the ice is frozen, simply popped it into a plastic bag and pop it back in the freezer until the party. And twice a day you will be adding more and more ice bag and you'll have more than enough for your party.

If you're expecting a lot of guests, start two or three weeks in advance.

If you host a lot of parties, watch the dollar store for shaped ice cube tray. If you can pick them up three for a dollar, you can make quite an impression at your next party when drinks are filled with ice cubes shaped like stars or hearts.

Also, find out how much ice you need for a party.
