Microwave Fettuccine Alfredo Recipe
1/3 lbs fettuccine noodles, cooked
4 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
2 cups milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black or white pepper
Cayenne pepper (to taste)
1 1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese
Melt butter in large microwave safe bowl by cooking on high for one minute, or until fully melted. Add flour, whisking well. Then add remaining ingredients except pasta and cheese, whisking until combined. Cook on high 2 minutes. Stir. Cook on high 2 minutes, then stir again. If not yet thick, cook another minute. Add cheese until melted. Then add to hot pasta, tossing until pasta is coated with alfredo sauce. Serve immediately, garnishing with parsley and paprika if desired.
