Make your own Sea Salt & Roasted Garlic Spice Jar Mix
The fancier herbal salts have become quite popular this year… and you can make them at home for a fraction of the cost you buy them at!
First, get a clean spice jar and fill about 3/4 with coarse sea salt (you can also use regular coarse salt if you have trouble finding the sea salt). Then fill the remainder of the jar with dried roasted garlic. You can also make it with unroasted dried garlic if you are having problems finding the roasted variety. Now, dump the contents of the jar into a bowl and thoroughly mix it around. Then carefully pour it back into the spice jar, and seal!
Can be used for steaks, seasoning of meat and poultry, for baked bread topping, etc. The ideas are endless!
