Brownies in a Jar Mix
2-1/4 cups white sugar
2/3 cup cocoa
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Add sugar to a one quart jar, pressing down firmly.
Next, add cocoa powder and press down firmly. Wipe the sides of the jar with a clean cloth, as the cocoa powder can dust the insides of the jar making the subsequent layers look dirty. Next, pour in chopped pecans, making sure pecans are evenly layered in the jar. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl, then pour into jar for final layer.
