Getting gum stuck on clothes, carpet or hair is something that moms have to deal with at one time or another, unless you ban gum from your household entirely.
If the gum is on clothing, simply place the entire garment into your freezer. Once it is frozen, you can “chip” it off, bend the garment (and frozen gum) to flake it off or pull it off.
If the gum is on something you can’t place into the freezer (carpet, hair, furniture), place an ice cube into a plastic bag, then place it on the gum. Once it is frozen, you can pull simply pull it off.
