If you have a small hole in your window screen or your screen door, it can seem like overkill to replace the entire screen. But patching it with mesh can make it look much trashier than you would probably prefer! But you can easily patch those small holes using materials you already have in your house!
First, bring the edges as close together as possible. Then, use clear nail polish to “paint” over the hole. Allow to dry and repeat. Be sure you don’t apply any pressure to the screen during this process, or else you may break the seam! You may need to do 6-8 applications, depending on the size of the hole.
Once complete, your hole will be fixed, and because the patch is fixed with clear nail polish, it will be nearly invisible!
