Creating a kitchen island for space and storage

Does your kitchen lack enough storage to keep it looking uncluttered? If there is room, consider purchasing one of the islands or carts on wheel to not only help storage but also to give you an extra workspace area in your kitchen.

There are many different kinds of the violence you can purchase. Many of them are butcher block cards, usually with one or two drawers underneath the cutting area, and some can even be as fancy as having a built-in knife rack or wine cabinet underneath.

They are also convenient in that you can roll them if these you need them, which also means you can move them out of the way if you need the extra standing room in your kitchen for a party, for example. Or you can even roll at right into the dining room to use it as a serving table.

You can purchase one of these carts at places such as Wal-Mart, a kitchen store, or even a specialty home décor showroom.
