If you have ever watched trading spaces, you know how the designers always design and create their own artwork for the rooms. And this is something you can easily do yourself, even if you think you do not have an artistic bone in your body.
The easiest way feed or create your own artwork is by choosing of photographs out of your personal collection. It doesn’t have to be at photo of people, it can be a picture of some scenery at a place you visited, or even the view out your window. But it should be appealing to the eye, and if it has some significance to you that is your best choice.
Next take a snapshot with you to craft store or even Wal-Mart, and find a frame that will do the photograph justice. Sometimes even a boring frame can be jazzed up with a vibrant mat in the shade that draws out a feature in the photograph. So do not necessarily be looking at only the most ornate or dramatic frames. Sometimes simple frames can work just as well when you’re creating your artwork. Then, you’ll get your picture blown up to the size to match the frame, or printed out on your home computer if it was a digital photograph.
If you have a series of photographs and use to make your artwork into a related collection try and purchase the frames of the same time. chances are, you won’t find that frame again when you decide to do another 16 months from now.
