Looking for inexpensive decor to celebrate Thanksgiving? Look to nature to provide a wealth of decorations without having to spend a penny.

A few weeks before Thanksgiving, take the kids on a walk and look for interesting leaves. You can then dry these in a flower press or between the pages of an old book, and create beautiful autumn colored leave decorations to place around the house, in large glass jars, or even to string along windows.

Collect pinecones, and create holiday scented pinecones or cinnamon spiced pinecones to not only decorate your house by placing in bowls or baskets, but to also leave a holiday scent in the air.

Using mini pumpkins, cut off the tops, just as you would with a jack o'lantern, and place tealights inside to give a festive candlelight look to your Thanksgiving dinner.
