Terra
Cotta Christmas Trees Craft
These cute trees
are easy for kids to nake, and they can be made quite inexpensively
too!
1 small terra cotta
pot
1 medium terra cotta pot
1 large terra cotta pot
Green acrylic paint (Christmas tree shade)
Decorations (mini tinsel, glitter, sequins, beads, etc)
Glue
Take your three
terra cotta pots. Place the largest one upside down, then
place the medium pot upside down on top of it, then the smallest
pot on top of that upside down. This will make the tree shape.
Glue them together - it is easiest if you glue the rim of
the pot above it, and then press it down on the base of the
pot below. Allow glue to dry.
Paint them with
green acrylic paint, and allow to dry.
Next, decorate
the tree by using glue to attach various beads, sequins, etc
to the pots. Glitter glue is perfect for adding "tinsel"
streamers. Allow to dry once more, and it is ready for decorating
your house or as a great gift!
