Do you have a daughter who wants to bling up her eggs but go beyond the glitter eggs that we have on the website? Bling them up!
First, dye your easter eggs like usual. When you bling your eggs, they will look better and show off more if the eggs are dyed in a solid color instead of dyed in multiple colors. If you want to make a princess bling easter egg, go with pink. For a rockstar egg, choose a bright blue.
Allow eggs to dry fully before applying bling. Buy tiny plastic crystals or rhinestones from the craft store. Also, using nail stickers – which you can pick up on the discount table when you can – are also a great option.
If the bling are stickers, simply peel off the backing and apply to the dried egg.
If they are rhinestones or crystals, you may need to use tweezers if your little one’s fingers are not coordinated enough to apply them. Simply dip the backs into a quick drying glue (check the glue section of your craft store, or the crafting department in a place like WalMart) and then apply to the eggs and allow to dry.
Use our quick and easy Easter egg stands to easily hold the eggs upright while you bling them out.
