A very quick and easy way to decorate your table for dinner parties this Christmas involves things you probably already have in your house!

As a table runner, use a brightly colored scarf.

For silverwear, place silverware into bright (and clean!) mittens for each place setting.

For name cards, make sugar cookies that you cut out with snowflake shaped cookie cutters. Then use icing to write each guest's name. You can also use other cookie cutter shapes such as sleighs, Christmas trees or bells.
