Instead of drinking a few cups of coffee in the mornings, make the switch to green tea. Green tea has a ton of health benefits, but it also has an antioxidant in it (called EGCG) that helps block production off histamine and immunoglobulin E. Sound technical? It helps block the reaction in your body that causes you to react.
It is recommended to take 2-3 cups of green tea to help those with hay fever.
Don’t like plain green tea? Fortunately there are a ton of different green teas on the market, such as mandarin orange and strawberry. Hit up the tea aisle of your grocery store to find the green tea flavor that suits you best.
Not a fan of hot drinks, especially when the weather warms up? You can also make green tea iced tea for a treat.
Don’t forget that drinking plenty of water helps alleviate symptoms too, most women don’t drink nearly the amount of water that they should to keep their body hydrated!
