How
to Save Dental Money by Practicing Preventative Medicine
If you've heard
it once you've probably heard it a thousand times... Brush
and floss your teeth daily. But do you realize this is also
an excellent way to save you money?
When you take preventative
care of your teeth, you are saving money against future dental
visits. It is much less expensive to pay for a cleaning that
it is to pay for a cavity filling or a root canal. And it
is just simple daily dental practice that make the difference.
Simply by rushing
and flossing daily, you can avoid future expenses such as
gum disease or even dentures. And especially with kids, particularly
ones who tend to have higher amounts of sugar in their diets,
make sure it is a practice they do at least twice a day.
Do your kids balked
at brushing and flossing daily? It is worth the extra pennies
to buy the fancy sparkle toothpaste or watermelon flavored
dental floss than it is to have to pay for expensive dental
care. So even though you may be spending an extra $10 or $15
a year buying the kid-appealing dental items, that $10 or
$15 is nothing in comparison to $1000 dental bill.
