Treating a burned tongue

If you have burned your tongue on hot soup or coffee, you know how painful it is, even when drinking or eating anything warm. But there is a home remedy which helps bring relief, especially since pharmacies don't sell anything to treat burned tongue syndrome!

Simply take a small amount of sugar and sprinkle it onto your tongue where you burned it, and allow it to disolve. This will bring much-needed relief to the burned spot and help it heal.

This also works on the roof of your mouth, but you will need to use your tongue to hold the sugar in place while it disolves, and you may need to repeat the process since some of the sugar will be disolving into your tongue instead of the roof of your mouth.
