Whenever you water hanging plants, it inevitably becomes a mess of water dripping out the water… or worse, water and dirt pouring out the top because you added so much water it overflowed. Here is a handy trick to prevent the hanging plant watering mess.
Instead of using a hose or watering can to water your plants, instead put ice cubes on the plant near the stem or base. The ice cubes will slowly release water as it melts, avoiding the messy water and dirt problems that annoy so many of us, which also means no more extra daily cleanup just from watering plants.
And to save more money, simply rinse of half-melted ice cubes in a finished drink, and put them in the hanging plans – or any of your household plants – for mess free watering.
