Easy Teriyaki Chicken Freezer Recipe
Flexible portion sizes means you can split this into multiple bags, or you can double or triple it to make more.
- 1 chicken cut up or equivalent amount of chicken pieces of your choice
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white wine or apple juice your preference
- 1/2 tsp dried ginger
- Place chicken into a freezer bag. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients and add to bag. Remove air from bag, seal and freeze. You can choose to divide it into 2, 3 or 4 bags as well, depending on how much you want for a meal.
On serving day
- Defrost in refrigerator.
- Preheat oven at 425 and bake chicken for 30 minutes (may take longer depending on chicken piece choices). Or grill on a barbeque until chicken is no longer pink.
This recipe is flexible in that you can use the entire thing for a meal, or split it into multiple freezer bags if you don't need as many chicken pieces for a meal for your family. Likewise, if your family loves it, you can double or triple it. This one is a favorite.
