How to freeze cooked bacon

Bacon can be a messy cooking experience, and especially when you would only need a few pieces, it can seem like too much effort for the end result. Fortunately, you can freeze cooked bacon for later use.

Cook bacon on the skillet as you would normally, but leave it slightly undercooked as to how you would normally prefer it (it will finish cooking when reheated). Allow to cool, then freeze. You can flash freeze then store in a ziploc, or individually wrap it for the freezer.\

To use, remove from freezer and set on counter for a few minutes to defrost. Pop into the microwave and cook for 10-20 seconds (or more depending on how many pieces of bacon you are reheating).

Serve!
