When you buy a
large quantity of beef on sale, why not pre-book some of it
and then freeze in one or two pound portions. This can save
lots of time for those quick evening meals that call for a
pound or two of ground beef, such as spaghetti, tacos, etc.
When you are frying
up a pound, and know you have another couple of upcoming meals
planned that also require ground beef fried, do it all at
once to save time. It won't add much extra time onto the original
meal, and then when you need fried ground beef again, simply
thaw ahead of time in the refrigerator or defrost in the microwave
and then use!
