What to do when
the strap breaks on your sexy stiletto shoes that cost more
than your monthly mortgage? Whether you are already out on
the town or resurrecting a pair you loved but no longer have
the strap available, there is hope.
First, stop by
a craft store and buy ribbon in a color to compliment or match
your heels. It should be satin finish ribbon, about 1/2"
to 1" wide. Be sure to cut each end of the ribbon on
a slant to prevent fraying, or gently brush each end with
clear nail
polish.
Bring the ribbon
underneath the shoe (the stiletto will keep it from falling
off) then bring it up across the top of your foot, then criss
cross wrap it a couple of times before tying in a bow on the
outside ankle or calf on each leg.
