Drawing
bleach designs on a pair of jeans
Ever wanted to
draw funky design on your back pockets of your jeans? Here
is how you can easily bleach a design on the back pockets,
without the the entire area, while still having a defined
pattern.
You will need a
bleach pen. The most easily found one is a Clorox bleach pen
which you can pick up at a grocery store for a couple of dollars.
A bleach pen has a gel bleach inside of its, so you can easily
see exactly where the bleach is going.
Next you'll either
need to dry your own pattern, or you can use a wall stencil
or even a scrap booking stencil as your pattern guide. With
a stencil you will want to use a chalk pencil to draw the
pattern, then remove the stencil from the denim and then go
over topic your chalk line with the bleach pen. You can skip
the chalk step, but the pattern will not be is defined as
the bleach gel tends to steep underneath the stencil. And
if you don't want to use a stencil pattern, just freelance
it and draw the lines and patterns how you want.
Allow the gel
bleach to set according to the directions, which is usually
until it tries, then wash and dry as normally. You now have
an awesome pattern on your jeans.
Stumped for ideas
for patterns? What about daisies, your initials, a sun or
even a fun design of fruits and veggies. Once you see what
cut stencils are available, you will probably have more ideas
than you have pairs of jeans for.
