We have all been trained that cheaper prices are always available online. And it isn’t unusual for people to shop in stores and then go and order it online when they get home. But surprisingly, it might be just as cheap – or cheaper – to buy in the store.
Did you know items in the Macy’s physical store are often cheaper than the price on their website? Because the website ships from a warehouse, while in-store inventory can fluctuate greatly, many stores do markdowns or markdowns happen before they actually hit the website. It is easy to check a price online while shopping, and you can also check stock to see if your size/color is available online – sizes tend to go faster on the website than in the store.
If you have your eye on something specific, check all retailers, offline AND online and see where you get the best deal. And don’t forget to add any applicable shipping and handling costs to your total price. You can always keep an eye on sales and flyers for when there are additional discounts.
