Saving
on Local Attractions
Visiting various
local attractions can start to add up. Fortunately, many places,
whether it is the aquarium, zoo or museum have family passes
where you can visit as many times as you like for a year.
You will get your money's worth, and they can be great even
for quick trips if you happen to have an hour or two to spare.
These can be great,
and many attractions will allow you to rotate the people you
bring - such as you could bring your son and his best friend
one time, and your daughter and her best friend the next,
as long as you do not exceed the maximum number of patrons
(family passes are usually two adults and two or three children).
You could have
a family vote at the beginning of the year to decide which
local attraction passes to purchase. And the next year, you
could decide to do a yearly family pass at the zoo instead
of the museum.
The best thing
is that most of these types of family passes will pay for
themselves with a second visit. Just be sure to use them regularly
so you get your money's worth!
