Make a Family Activity Jar Craft

Making a family activity jar is a great way to not only get out and do things as a family but try new things other than the "same old" parks and museums you usually go to.

First, have each family member come up with a list of ten places to go to that are all local. They can be usual favorites, or places that they have always wanted to go to but never have. You can pick up a local tourist guide (usually free) for inspiration if you are having problems coming up with ideas. Then, write each on a small piece of paper, fold each, then place in a jar with a lid. You can also decorate the jar if you like.

On a family day where you are wanting to do an activity, shake the jar, remove the lid and then each family member takes turns pulling out an activity to do.
