Bullying can happen to any child in school. Bullying is when one child is using words or intimidation to exert power over another child.
Examples of bullying include:
* name calling
* excluding someone from activities or groups
* threatening
* ignoring
* stealing or damaging property belonging to another (such as school supplies, clothing, lunch)
* physical abuse (hitting, kicking, punching, tripping)
* intimidation
* making a child do something he or she does not want to do
* writing or saying hurtful things about another
