If you go and type in the word coupon on eBay, you will find about a zillion listings, not to mention you often need to search for both the word “coupon” and “coupons” to get them all. But how can you narrow down the search a bit better to find the coupons you need?
Do you know the coupon?
If you know the specific coupon you are looking for, you will find it much easier if you search for the product name, amount and expiry date.
Search for the product
You will likely need to weed through a lot more auctions, especially if it is a lot of coupons being sold in groups.
Search for the complete insert
Do you know which insert and which week has the coupons you want? Search for that particular insert, it might be worth more money to you to buy the entire insert than just individual coupons.
Search by seller
If you have bought successfully from another seller, see what other coupons he or she is selling, since you know you won’t need to worry about them being fraudulent.
Always take the buyer beware approach to buying coupons on eBay since unfortunately there are unscrupulous sellers who sell fraudulent coupons. Just remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
