Bone broth has become extremely popular for people looking for a healthy broth, especially those who might be doing keto or are on a low-carb diet. Unfortunately most recipes call for bone broth to be rather plain, simply with the beef bones, or with maybe an onion or a carrot thrown in.
But you can make bone broth taste so much better by adding some seasoning to it, such as herbs and spices to give the bone broth much more depth and flavor to it. So it can be used an actual soup if you’d like instead of just adding it to a recipe.
Here are some herb combinations to try with your next batch of bone broth.

- 3″ ginger root, sliced thinly
- 3 Bay leaves
- 5 sprigs parsley

- 5 sprigs thyme
- 1 head garlic, into cloves
- Assorted vegetables of choice (celery, carrots, onion)
