Stretching Your Gravy from Roasts

It happens to most of us. You make a nice roast for your family dinner, but there just isn't enough gravy drippings in the bottom of your roasting pan to make enough gravy for your mashed potatoes. The most common solution is to grab a package of instant gravy mix or acan of gravy and use that as a substitute. But there is a much less expensive way you can stretch the gravy you have, will not sacrificing the flavor by diluting it too much.

Next time you find yourself with not enough gravy, use instant beef bouillon instead. simply take one or two teaspoons of the glee on and add it to about a cup of water. Next add a little bit of flour or cornstarch as a thickener and it makes it well with a fork. Then pour it into the greedy you have left and finish making your gravy like usual.

You will have flavorful gravy inexpensively, without having to shell out money for those expensive gravy mixes you don't need.
