Chopping and mincing garlic can be a pain if you are trying to do with a knife, rather than a garlic press. This is because the garlic is pretty sticky and not only sticks to your fingers but also seems to stick like glue to your knife. Here is a quick and easy way to keep the garlic from being so sticky when you are cutting it.
Simply drizzle a small amount of olive oil onto each clove of garlic. You will only need about two or three tiny drops to do this. Quickly rub the olive oil onto the clove and then start chopping, and the garlic will not stick to your fingers or your knife, meaning you can top and diced garlic with ease.
