Stretching
your frozen juices
Did
you realize it is quite simple to save money on your frozen
juice simply by creating more juice out of the same amount
of frozen concentrate?
When you were making
frozen juice, be sure you read this side of the container,
and make the juice exactly according to the instructions.
And reflect on how you usually make it. Do you usually use
less water or more water? If you usually use less water, you
may have a bit harder work ahead of you, but you will be saving
money as of now. If you use more water, add that much water,
plus a little bit extra. oh
Even when you dilute
frozen juice concentrate, most people just can't taste the
difference, especially if you are using some of the trendier
punches on the market that combine several different kinds
of fruit blends. And if it is citrus juice, you could often
add even more water, and compensate by adding an extra splash
or two of lemon juice.
If you find that
your kids have put the juice container back in the fridge
with an inch or less of juice left, use that as a base for
the next batch. Often that juice is the strongest out of the
entire jugand if you use it for the base when making the same
kind of Jews, you can add even more water to it because you
already have that extra kick added.
