If you have a teenage daughter who decided black was a great hair color choice, or that hot pink streaks is cool, and then managed to drip the dye onto your vinyl floor, you have probably discovered it is not the easiest thing to remove if it isn’t wiped off immediately. Once it has set and dried, soap and water just won’t get the job done, except for some of the gentle vegetable-based hair dyes new on the market.
To remove hair dye from your vinyl flooring, gently rub the area with rubbing alcohol and a clean cloth.
Be sure to spot test on an unnoticeable area first, to make sure the flooring doesn’t bleed color.
