Whenever turkey and cranberry sauce are around, there is bound to be at least once accidental stain. While turkey doesn’t really stain, cranberry sauce is definitely another matter. So if you have some spilled cranberry sauce stains to tackle, here is how to do it.
First, scoop up as much of the cranberry sauce as possible, being careful not to spread it or press it any further into the fabric. Then rinse out the fabric with cold water. Then use a pretreating stain solution (such as Shout!) following the instructions on the bottle. Then wash as recommended in the fabric’s care instructions.
If the stain is not gone when you remove it from the washing machine, DO NOT DRY IT, you can treat and wash the stain again, as it may take more than once to do it.
